WESTCHESTER, IL, Mar 19, 2019 – Follett Higher Education, the largest campus retailer in North America, announced today that it has been selected by Virginia Tech Services, Inc. to operate their seven campus retail locations, and provide other student services at Virginia Tech.
Beginning this month, Follett will manage University Bookstore, Volume Two Bookstore, Dietrick Convenience Store, the North End Center Hokie Centric, and North End Center Starbucks, as well as various eCommerce platforms, and stadium athletics stores, resulting in enhanced access to academic materials for students and overall improved efficiencies and customer experience.

With this new partnership, Virginia Tech students and faculty will benefit from Follett's expansive inventory of affordable course material choices and digital learning technologies, cost-saving print options that include used books as well as Follett’s textbook rental program, Follett’s popular price-match program for in-stock textbooks, enhanced textbook adoption application, customized print-on-demand logo clothing and gifts, and other benefits.

Follett will refresh general merchandise offerings at the store to create a one-stop shop for both classroom and campus life essentials. Customers can expect a custom product assortment that reflects local interests as well as national trends in clothing, gifts, supplies, technology and more. Over the next 12 to 18 months, several facilities will receive renovations and upgrades, including a new Starbucks at the University Bookstore.
